In 2003 the Ensign was looking for tips to overcoming loneliness and my submission was printed

 in the February 2003 issue.

In June 2003 Marjorie and I went to Quincy Stake Women's Camp and I wrote this Scriptural Legacy.

Interpretation in printed form...no one can read my writing.

My scriptural legacy is D & C 122: 7, 8, & 9

I would choose to leave this scripture to: My Grandchildren

I would leave it to them because it is a scripture that has had the most influence on my attitude toward accepting whatever challenges come with my life and knowing that God will be with you (me).  I would want it to become a scripture that would give them strength and courage and faith and knowledge that Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ himself have been through far more than will ever be asked of us...and the promise was given to us all that we should "fear not" for the Lord,  our God,  is always with us.

This scripture means so much to me because I first became aware of it when I was serving in North Stake Primary and Sister La Verne Parmley, General President, looked at us and in a strong voice she said, "Sisters, the Lord never promised it would be easy, what he did promise is that He would always be with you, and then she read D & C 122, 7, 8, & 9.

That promise was once again,  as in my patriarchal blessing, impressed upon me as a truth of great importance in my life.

I was not always living where I could attend children's baptisms but Camber always insisted I write letters to them.  These are copies of what I sent.

In June 2008 we traveled to Orem and celebrated my older sister Jeanne's 80th Birthday.
