In my decluttering I found this dress I made back in 57 or 58. Bill, my boyfriend, was a Helicopter pilot in the Navy and was overseas finishing up things from the Korean War. He brought me this Oriental material and I made the dress and also had heels covered to match. The material is so lovely I have been keeping the dress. Meagan tried it on in high school and it fit her, I don't think anyone else even tried. Hmm, what to do with it.
I wish I could sew as well now as I did then. I made so many beautiful dresses, suits, capri outfits...I am amazed. All on a little miniature Singer!!
